While those ideas percolate, I want to share the Substack universe and some of my favorite people here.
Substack is a platform for writers and creative people from all walks of life. There is an app to make it easy to follow your favorite authors and search for topics. Substack has just released a new feature where you can message an author from their author page.

Writers I follow
Joan Fernandez Joan is a novelist who brings to light brilliant women’s courageous deeds in history. She writes about women whose contributions have been overlooked or dismissed and gives voice to those women from the past.
Lifequakes Petya’s newsletter offers tools and community for navigating life’s disruptions with kindness, humor and self-awareness.
Things you need to or want to know
PaulMacko has several newsletters to choose from. I currently subscribe to the Undeplatformable Newsletter. He always brings a fresh perspective to technology and marketing.
Artists
Beth Spencer offers
in both free and paid versions. The post below is plain fun if you love dogs. If you don’t love dogs, well, then it’s your loss. Magical illusions and behind-the-scenes stories about her work and life. Below is a heartfelt story about a good friend who she lost.
Life issues
I’ve just subscribed to Janice’s Substack after reading this post. Insight and helpful, no matter if you have aging people in your life or if you are aging. If you are lucky enough, you will be an aging person.
