I’ve been thinking a lot about creative freedom this year.
For me, it means less self-judgment.
Less comparison.
Less pushing.
More flow.
In this episode, I sit down with Elizabeth Beaudry, a QiGong teacher and energy healer, and we talk about something simple but powerful:
What if creative blocks are really energy blocks?
We explore hustle culture and why it pulls us out of our bodies.
We talk about burnout and living “from the head up.”
We explored emotions as energy that needs to move, not be managed or suppressed.
Elizabeth shares a few practices you can try immediately:
shaking your body to reset your nervous system
noticing where frustration or tension lives physically
a grounding practice called the Column of Light
All of it is about coming back to yourself.
Creative freedom isn’t forcing output.
It’s clearing what’s in the way.
If you’ve been feeling stuck, scattered, or subtly drained, this conversation might be exactly what you need.
I’m curious. Do you feel creative blocks in your body? If so, where do they show up?
For me, it’s often in my stomach. I feel a tightness. Also, I notice my mind spinning out. These are signals to me that I need to clear my energy and ground myself. I hope you find some tips in our conversation to support you when you feel a creative or emotional block.
